The following people have volunteered and
been approved by the IronButt Association to serve as witnesses for
long distance rides requiring a witness at either the start of
finish. For more info you should e-mail the person direct to
arrange meeting times and locations. Remember that the rider
you choose may not be available at the time you need them.
Please plan accordingly.

NOTICE: Messages that do not have the e-mail address copied into the text of the message will be deleted with no response.
You will be added to the list during the next update which can be several months between updates. Phone numbers will NOT be listed for security reasons unless the number and address are for a police or fire station. LEO, Fire Fighters, and officers of the court see "new features" below. Invalid e-mail addresses will be removed after one update cycle if no update is provided before the next update.
The next update should happen on or about 7/2007.
If there is not a rider listed in your immediate area, check
with others that appear to be some distance away (surrounding states),
this is a long distance rider group after all. While not all
the area they will cover is listed here, many riders will travel great
distances to help another rider. ASK THEM!
Since this is a place where many rides start, it is only appropriate that I take this space to remind you all to remember some of the riders who pioneered this sport. Ron Major, Steve Jewett, and Fran Crane all passed far too soon. Before they went, they blazed a trail that all endurance riders follow every time they ride. Remember these pioneers when you ride, and ride SAFE!
New feature:
Some witnesses are considered preferred or primary
witnesses. These include police officers, fire fighters,
judges, officers of the court. Going forward, the text of the
listings will reflect
Police officers and judges in blue,
Fire fighters in Red.
Whenever possible, these witnesses should be used to start and end
rides, and are required for Extreme rides. If you fit this
category and DO NOT want your listing color coded for
security/operational reasons, please let us know when you submit your
information.
